Andrew grew up in Camden, Maine and spent his childhood summers sailing from Swan's Island, which is a ferry serviced island off Mt. Desert Island near Acadia National Park. Andrew's father, now retired, lives on Swans Island most of the year and sails his beautiful Morris 26"Petrel" along the Maine Coast. Andrew Graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 1986 and began taking photos of yacht racing in 1988, packing an avon inflatable with a 15 HP outboard into the back of a Deisel Rabbit and driving from Maine to San Francisco!
